Sometimes, the phone might not charge because the charging port may not be holding the wire tight, or wire is not recognized by the phone. Most of the common reasons for this can be:
- the charging wire/adapter is not a quality one that is not recognized by the phone’s software. Also, if your phone needs a new update, you might face the charging issue.
- The other most common issue is that the charging port is clogged with debris and lint. Here, if you have to try hard to put your cable in or if its jiggles, that means you need to look for a professional cleanup of your charging port. Please never push and push if it is not clicking properly in the charging port, as it might permanently damage your charging port and after this the only solution for it will be to replace the charging port. CLENUP OF THE CHARGING PORT IS CHEAPER THAN ITS REPLACEMENT.
At BC Gadgets, we have all kind of charging ports for different phone models, in stock. NOTE: some charging ports are soldered to the mother board which takes longer time to fix.
