My phone screen has turned blank/black after I dropped my phone. I can still hear the notifications and receive calls. What might be the reason?

There might be a number of reasons. It can be caused by a software crash, while other times can be a hardware failure (LCD or connectors going bad).

I dropped my phone in water. What should I do?

Try to dry it off as quickly as possible. First, do not turn it on, and if your phone was on, turn it off immediately and leave it off. Second, never put it on charge. Take out all removable (SIM card and micro SD card OR THE KIND OF PHONE THAT ALLOWS BATTERY REMOVAL) parts. Dry it off with a soft lint- free towel, and take it to a cell phone repair shop ASAP

Can I dry my phone by placing it in rice?

Despite the popularity of putting your wet phone in a bag of dry rice and let it sit for 24-36 hours, it doesn’t actually work. The reason being the minerals in water can dry inside the phone and can potentially react with materials inside the phone. It can also introduce dust and rice grains into the phone and can cause further harm and long-term damage.

Why my phone is not charging?
